Terry Kelley

Terry “TK” Kelley was born on June 7, 1947 to late Deleen Kelley.

Terry grew up in Ashland, Al and graduated from Clay County Training School. At an early age, he joined Bethel Baptist Church in Ashland, AL.  At age 17, Terry made a career choice to start driving trucks and his traveling began, driving across 48 states for 46 years. Most of his adult life was spent in Newark, New Jersey.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother Deleen Kelley, 2 brothers Thornton and Raymond Kelley, and sister Betty Johnson.

Terry was called home on January 25, 2018 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Al.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife: Sarah Kelley. Children: Terry Durrell Babbs, Hassan Terry Kelley, Kelly Laquan Babbs.   Brother: Bobby (Tina) Dark. Sister: Mattie Joe (Arthur) Wilson. Brothers-in-Law: William Johnson, Billie Wilson: Sisters-in-law: Carnary Kelley, Geraldine Walker. Stepchildren: Priscilla (Peter) Marshall, James C. Dunn. Grandchildren: Jabria, Jalen, Jalia, Cameron all of Newark, NJ, and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
