Ryan McClendon - ‘Red Bone’
Ryan Anthony “Red Bone” McClendon son of the late Shirley Ann Jackson was born September 18, 1969 in Alexander City, AL.
He was a graduate of Opelika High School Class of 1987. He was employed with Lab Corp of America in Birmingham, AL.
Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Jackson,; brother, Rodney McClendon, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie L. Tuck.
On Thursday, January 23, 2020 he departed this life at his residence.
He leaves to cherish three siblings: Rhonda (Arnell Allen) McClendon of Opelika, AL; Derick (Amanda) McClendon of Alexander City, AL; and Deborah (Roydale) Core of Opelika, AL. Five special aunts: Lisa Morgan, Nellie (Earl) Edwards, Rosietta (David) Marbury, Peggy Massengale and Gwendolyn Lovejoy all of Alexander Cty, AL. Two special uncles: Thomas (Arlene) McClendon and Willie (Evelyn) McClendon. Three nieces: Meagan Welch of Opelika, AL; Jasmine McClendon of Breckenridge, CO; and Tyisha McClendon. Six nephews: Kentavious (Starkeisha) McClendon, Jordan (Tiandra Collins) Jackson, Jared Core all of Opelika, AL; Hunter McClendon, Kaleb McClendon and Kyle McClendon all of Alexander City, AL. Four special cousins: Brandon McClendon of Sylacauga, AL, Marquise Edwards of Atlanta, GA; Lakesha Morgan of Alexander City, AL; and William (Safiya Braithwaite) Morgan of Atlanta, GA. Four special friends: Rayo Robinson, Joey Belyeu, Chelsea Mills and Malcolm Howard. A host of other relatives and friends.
