Osie Grant McNeal was born February 15, 1950 to the late Mr. Benjamin Franklin McNeal and Mrs. Odie Bell McNeal in Alexander City, Alabama.

He departed this life on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his residence in Goodwater, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memories: 3 brothers: Will Gopher, Alvin Gopher of Alexander City, Alabama and Tommy Sand Mcneal (Faye) of Kellyton, Alabama. 8 sisters: Evelyn Hill, Goodwater, Alabama, Dorothy McNeal, Betty McNeal, Sandra Buckner, Ida lee Crayton all of Alexander City, Alabama., Sally Ann McNeal of Cleveland, Ohio, Clara M. Hutchinson (Robert),  of Pennsylvania, Nancy Copper Redding of Pennsylvania.  3 special friend: L.
C. Robbins, Nathan Cole and Willie Harrison of Goodwater, Alabama.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He will be truly missed.
