Ms. Macie McNeal was born in Tallapoosa County to the late George Thomas and Maggie Will Milner on August 24, 1938. She was the eldest of ten children.
Ms. Macie attended Laurel High School and received her GED from CACC. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Luther McNeal. She retired from, Russell Mills Corporation.
She joined Early Rose Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she was an active and faithful member until her health failed.
Her memories are left to: a loving son and devoted Son and Daughter-in-law, George Frank McNeal (Myra). Three Grandsons: Antonio Holley (Cassandra) of Montgomery, AL, Stacy Kendrick, and Adrian McNeal both of Alexander City, AL. One Granddaughter: April Jackson of Mobile, AL. Seven great grandchildren. Five Siblings: Leola Wright, Sallie Holley, Robert James Wright, and Willie Thomas (Diane) all of Alexander City, AL and James Thomas (Vicki) of Indianapolis, Indiana. Special Pet Candee Michelle and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Macie was preceded in death by her father, George Thomas; mother, Maggie Will Milner; Sisters: Lou Jean Robinson, Mary Norville, Jessie Gaddis. Brothers: John Edward Wright and Dallas Caldwell. Great grandson, Klintaveus Thompson.
