Gwendolyn Norris was born in Kings County, Brooklyn, NY. On January 7, 1964. To the parents of Mr. & Mrs. Edward and Classie Norris. She attended Richmond Hill High School, Richmond Hill, NY.
In 1997 She came back to Alexander City to live. She attended Sunday service at Jehovah Jireh presiding Pastor Roderick Williams where she enjoyed singing and hearing the gospel.
She enjoyed being with her family and having a good time making everyone laugh and smile. She is a mother of eight children. Nathaniel Norris (April), Chakia Norris (Floyd), Chanell Norris, Randel Jones, Rayshawn Norris, Isaiah Jones, Derrick Norris, and David Jones.
Grandchildren - Mykhia Norris, Jyque Norris, Zyniah Wilkerson, Paris Wilkerson, Dwayne Brown, Levi Norris, Rayden Jones, Terrell Jones,
Naziah Norris, and one great-granddaughter Malaysia Norris.
She presides her parents in death and five siblings. Edward Norris (Rosalie), Annette Norris (Patrick), Brenda Gordon (Ted), Maxine Norris (Evelyn), Joe Norris (Tsui), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
