Ms. Diane R. (Peery) Deloney

Ms. Diane Renee Peery Deloney 54 was born on August 8, 1965 in Stanford, Connecticut to Hugh J. Peery and Janeth Arwiltha Thomas Peery.  At an early age Diane and her family relocated to Coosa County Alabama.

In 1985 Diane graduated from Coosa County High School at he top of her class.  She attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL.  She completed her education in Medical Coding in Montgomery, Alabama.  Diane worked at Russell Medical Center and East Alabama Medical Center until she had to medically retire in 2018.

In 1999, Diane followed in the footsteps of her mother, grandmother and aunts and joined Vester Chapter #779, the Order of Eastern Star  serving as Treasurer.  She was a faithful member of the Peace & Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church until her health began to fail.

Diane was a beautiful, caring soul who loved her family and all whom she met.

On Friday, June 19, 2020, the Lord called Diane home to be with Him.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Hugh and Janeth Peery, brother, Ralph Thomas and sister, Latonia Peery Wardale.

Cherishing her memories: children: Courtnie, Eron and Alexis of Alexander City, AL.  Sister, Sarah Eatman of Huntsville, AL.  Two god brothers: Courtney Walker (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, AL and David Ware (Patricia) of Newman, Ga; one aunt, Elizabeth Thomas of Coosa County, AL. Four nieces: Tonya Robinson, of Norfolk, VA, Sanda Young of Goodwater, AL, Josie Thomas of Alexander City, AL and Kathryn Daniels (LaKessa) of Raleigh, NC. 9 great nieces and nephews. 3 great great nephews. 3 god children: Shavaria Birmingham, Tara Darby, and Rayleigh Johnson.  A host of special friends, cousins, other relatives and many others that loved her dearly.
