Bonita Meadows was born October 11, 1970 to Mr. Johnnie, Jr. and Mrs. Mary Mahala (Leonard) Meadows.
From an early age, Bonita was a member of Kellyton Chapel United Methodist Church. She received her Graduation
Certificate from Central High School. She loved her family, the color red, coloring books and writing out her “list”! One of her favorite songs was “Yes, Jesus loves me”.
Bonita departed this life Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mahala Meadows, a brother, Johnnie Lewis Meadows and a sister, Belinda Denise “Niece” Meadows.
Bonita leaves to cherish her memories seven (7) brothers: Lauria “Larry” (Pamelyn) Meadows, Kevin T. Meadows, LaTerence (Kimberly) Meadows, Karl Meadows, Barry (Karen) Meadows, Keith (Kahalia) Meadows, & Lavor Meadows; and six (6) sisters: Patricia Meadows, Mary Ann Meadows, Brenda J. Meadows-Townes, Pamela T. (Charles) Higgins, Monica W. McCord & Toinette M. Williams.
She also leaves to cherish her memories an Aunt and Uncle: Mrs. Myrtle and Mr. Elijah “Billy” Ellington of Alexander City, Alabama and another Aunt: Vella Johnson of Detroit, Michigan; Several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives, cousins and close friends.
