Mrs. Virginia R Jones known as Gin was born on February 3, 1946 to the late Mr. George Nip Kelly and Mrs. Lessie Mae Hill in Coosa County Alabama.
She joined St John A.M.E. Church at a early age. She was joined in Holy matrimony to L.J Jones, she moved her membership to New Elam #1 Baptist Church, Alexander City, AL.
Mrs. Jones worked at Special Service and Chapman Nursing Home for many many years.
Virginia departed her life at Russell Medical Center on April 15, 2019.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband Mr. L.J. Jones. A daughter: Virgtrina Jones of Alexander City AL. Two sons: Tyrance Jones (Charisse Long) of Millerville, AL. and Larry Jones (Tameka Jones) of Kellyton AL One sister, Christine Kelly of Goodwater AL. Three brothers: Charles Kelly of Goodwater AL, George Kelly, Sr. of Ashland AL, and Bobby Lee Kelly of San Diego, CA. Nine grandchildren and nine great grandkids. Two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Ethel (Floyd) Johnson) of Alexander City, AL and Mary (Ben) Maxwell of Kellyton, AL and two brothers-in-law: S.J Jones of Kellyton, AL and Willie McKinney of Alexander City, AL. Two special friends. Patricia McKinney and Nell Culpeper. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
