Mrs. Peggy Sue Ezell was born on November 12, 1947 to the late Andy and Desy Greathouse. On Saturday, December 9, 2023, God sent an Angel to call her to enter eternal peace. Earlier in life, she joined Mount Zion East Baptist Church in Dadeville, AL where she remained a faithful servant until God called her home.
Peggy attended Council High School in Dadeville, AL. She was a hard worker and retired from Russell Mills in Alexander City, AL in 1996. The love for her family and friends was shown her whole life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Desy Greathouse; her son, Tony Hart; her grandson, LaDarrell Hart, and seven brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Peggy Sue Ezell leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Charlie Will Ezell of Auburn, AL; three daughters, Pamela (Morris) Downing and Harriett (Hulette) Rowe of Alexander City, AL, Kimberly (Demettric Sr.) McClain of Birmingham, AL; two sons, Jerry Hart of Alexander City, AL and Dontae Webb of Auburn, AL; Three stepdaughters; one sister, Mary (Earnest) Webb of Waverly, AL; Two Sister in laws; eight granddaughters, Lekishia (John) Richardson of Alexander City, AL, LaPorcha Hart of Opelika, AL, Jermekkia Hart of Conyers, GA, Ciera Hart, Tiera Hart, Aaliyah Thomas, Jamya Webb, and Randasia Webb of Alexander City, AL; three grandsons, Jermichael Hart of Opelika, AL, Demettric McClain Jr. of Birmingham, AL, and Jermond Hart of Alexander City, AL; a special friend, Gertha Pearson & a special cousin, Myrtis Oliver, seven great grandchildren, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
