Mrs. Nellie McCullough Obituary

Mrs. Nellie S. McCullough was born in Dadeville, Alabama on August 23, 1931 to the late Pastor George Shealey and Mrs. Clyde Green Shealey.

 

Mrs. Nellie as she was known to all was united in marriage to the late Minister Roy McCullough.

 

Mrs. Nellie was a devoted church member of Pine Grove and visited other congregations until her health failed.

 

Mrs. Nellie was also a dedicated volunteer teacher at the Laurel Head Start Center and Russell Headstart Center for several years and a volunteer bus chaperone

 

Mrs. Nellie leave to cherish her memories to 1 son, Roger McCullough; 2 Daughters: Lillie (Eric) McCullough Benson, Mary Jean McCullough all of Alexander City, Alabama; 1 brother, Mr. David Shealey of Los Angeles, California; 1 sister, Mrs. Caudie B. James of Atlanta, Georgia; 2 nephews: Mr. Stanley Shealey of Dadeville, Alabama and Mr. Frankie James of Atlanta, Georgia; 2 nieces: Mrs. Mary James of Atlanta, Georgia and Mrs. Rosie Wilson of Alexander City, Alabama. 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, great  nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
