Mrs. Minnie (Gunn) Thomas

Mrs. Minnie Sharon Gunn Thomas was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer and Irene Gunn on September 15. 1956. She gained her heavenly wings on February 6, 2024 leaving behind cherished memories that will forever live in our hearts.

She joined Pleasant Home at an early age and remained a faithful member until God called her home.

In 2014, Minnie Sharon was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. William Thomas.

Minnie Sharon leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved sons: Antonio and Tellis Stone (Ashley); Two God daughters: Delicia Davis (Kevin) and Tria Meadows; 22 beautiful grandchildren; Stepsons: Issac Thomas and Solemon Thomas; brothers: Roger Gunn (Mary Dean) and Billy Ray Gunn (Theresa); Sisters: Gertie Gunn Pearson, Dorothy Gunn Corbin (Clarence), Nora Gunn Flowers, and Bernice Gunn; Sisters in law: JoAnne Thomas and Catherine Thomas (Jimmy); Host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Home and Irene Gunn.  Brothers: Arthur Baker, Homer Calvin Gunn, Vatcher Gunn, and James Merrell Gunn; Sister: Helen Gunn Carter.

Minnie obtained her education from the Hannah J. Mallory School and graduated from Goodwater High School, class of ‘74.

She retired from Russell Mills, after working there more than 30 years.

She was an active member of the Adams Chapter of O.E.S. #685, PHA since November 14, 1983.  She served as Pass Associate
