Mrs. Lola Mae Graham was born on September 8, 1943 to Gladys and Matthew Brown in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Laurel High School on May 28, 1961. She worked at Russell Mills for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Henderson Graham, her parents Gladys and Matthew Brown, and brother’s Leroy Brown and Milton Brown.
She was beloved by everyone who ever met her. An avid Alabama Roll Tide fan, you were always welcome to watch the games with her and she often jokingly threatened you if you wore orange and blue. No matter the circumstance, you could always count on leaving her home with a plate in hand. She had a gift of making everyone feel like family and poured all that she could into her children, nieces, nephews and friends addressing and helping with any problem that they showed up at her doorstep with.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son William Matthew Graham of Atlanta, Georgia; three daughters: Leesa Ann Brown of Katy, Texas; Juanita Graham of Katy, Texas; Katrina Michelle Graham of Alexander City, Alabama; one stepdaughter: Brenda Gail Young of Alexander City, Alabama; 5 grandchildren: Stephanie Renee Brown, Barron Marquis Graham, Ieisha Shante Graham, Kevin Eugene Earls Jr., Brianna Danielle Graham, Jaideion Kingston Graham; and 4 great grandchildren; Angelina Eleesa (Damon)Brown, D'artagnan Isis Graham, Tristan Amir Riley, Zyla Huggins and a very special friend: Mr. Bobby Gollatte along with a host of special nieces, nephews, an aunt and many friends.
