Mrs. Linda Ann (HARRISON) Whetstone

Mrs. Linda Ann Whetstone began her life journey on December 25, 1959 to the parentage of Gladys Nell Harrison and the Late Marriel Harrison Sr.

Linda Ann attended Bibb Graves High School. She was an employee at Tyson Foods for 20+ years, before transitioning to the Goodwater Nursing Home.

She confessed Christ as her Lord and personal savior at an early age; where she joined Pleasant Home Baptist Church. She also attended A Candle Lit Up On a Hill Church.

Linda Ann had a heart of gold. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt, cousin, and most of all grandmother.

On March 8th, 2024 Linda Ann was called home to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Whetstone; her father Marriel Harrison Sr.; her father-in-law Emmitt Whetstone, and her sister Annie Mae Baker.

Linda Ann leave to cherish her loving memories to seven children: Melissa (Tim) Ellis of Ashland, AL, Monica (Robert) Person of Goodwater, AL, Barry (Melinda) Harrison of Goodwater, AL, Clarence (Kristi) Whetstone Jr., of Ashland, AL, Timothy Whetstone of Ashland, AL Devin Whetstone of Goodwater, AL, Lucas (Donja) Whetstone of Ashland, AL, and Gladys (John) Harrison of Goodwater, AL; Grandchildren: Alexis (Shuntavious), Gerald Ellis, Aaliyah Ellis, Nick Harrison, Selina Harrison, Tristan Person, Na’Liyah Person, Allanah Person, Braylin Person, Lucas Whetstone Jr., Jhi Whetstone, & Kynzleigh Whetstone; Two great grandchildren: A’nyah Hardy & Myles Ellis; Sisters; Joann Butler of Alexander City, AL and Margie (Shon) Garrett of Goodwater, AL; Brothers: Occie (Cathy) Harrison of Goodwater, AL, Marriel Harrison Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, and Tony (Helen) Harrison of Johnsburg, GA; A host of other relatives and friends.
