Mrs. Lenese (Jones) Russell

Mrs. Lenese Jones Russell was born in Norfolk,Virginia on September 6, 1946 and transitioned to eternity on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Lenese was one of eleven children born from the union of Ruby Hines and Atlas Jones.  She was educated in Norfolk School System.

She was married to Hardy Russell, Jr. In 1974 and from this union they had one child, Timothy Jones.

Mrs. Russell spent her career of 29 years at AT&T  as a local and long distance Operator.

Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by two brothers: Sterling and Bill.  Seven sisters: Margaret, Benita, Carolyn, Roberta, Arlene, Betty and Eleanor.

Lenese is survived by her husband, Hardy Russell, Jr. Son, Timothy Jones. Grandson, Keithan Jones (Amber).  One brother, Paul Jones. 4 great grandchildren: Cameron, Navy, Navia and Sainte. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved her.
