Kenyetta Wymonia Lawson-Ware was born on May 25, 1976 in Alexander City, AL.
Lucy was what everyone called her and she answered to a few other names, but she really enjoyed the “Gi Gi” title. She had so much love for her children and family.
She will always be remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, etc.
She took pride in her care for the elders and really had a great passion for being a certified nursing assistant. Lucy worked many years as a certified nursing assistant with Brown Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Kenyetta was preceded in death by her mother Ms. Betty Jo Lawson, a father figure Mr. Jimmy Thomas, and uncles: Rev. Al Lawson, Rev. Paul Lawson Jr., Joe C. Lawson, and James A. Lawson
She is survived by a devoted and caring husband, Mr. Desi Ware; Children, Mr. Quinton Hutchins and Ms. Mariah Ware; granddaughter, Ms. Williow Hutchins; a daughter-in-love Ms. Anaya Crayton; Siblings, Timmy Lawson and Naquita Bledsoe; Aunts, Daisy Smith & Sacra Lawson; Uncles, Tommy Lawson & John Wayne Lawson; Cousins: Mike Lawson, Dusty (Melissa) Lawson, Chris (Theresa) Fernandez Lawson, Carlos (Tammy) Varner, Jessica (Johnathan) Kennedy, Marcus (Letisha) Gillett, Shalaunda McCain, Sherry McCain, Tony McCain, Shlettia Lawson, Senterrell Robinson; Special friends: Tami Smickle, Camelia Godfrey, Rita Tuck, Marilyn Hawkins, Tyre Jones, & Melaine Johnson; A host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
