Jessie Lee Corbin passed away peacefully at Goodwater Healthcare Center on May 14, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Coosa County, AL on August 5,1930 to Gene Bradford and Irene Marbury. She was later raised by her Uncle John Austin Chapman and Aunt Mary Marbury Chapman of Goodwater, AL.
On April 17, 1948, Jessie Lee was united in holy matrimony to James Williams Gaddis. To this union, five children were born Rosa, Annie, Irene, Willie, Early, and a step-son, Robert. After the departure of her late husband, she joined in matrimony with Charlie Corbin, affectionately known as Mr. Charlie.
At an early age, she gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and became a member of Hatchett Springs Baptist Church. Later she and her late husband, Charlie Corbin joined Macedonia Baptist Church in Goodwater, AL.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her five children: Rosa (Robert) Kelly, Annie (late Harold) Strong, Irene Johnson, Willie (Betty) Gaddis, Early Gaddis, her step-son, Robert Gaddis; One sister, Ophelia Conley; Four sisters-in-law, Laura Gaddis, Beulah Chapman, Flora Mae Chapman, & Faustina Chapman; Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
