Mrs. Earnestine Jones

Ms. Earnestine Jones was born in Goodwater, AL to the late Mr. Melvin Lee Jackson

and Mrs. Bernice Jackson.

She was married to the late Ryland Jones for 17 years, who was called home on

September 11, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ryland Jones, her son Brandon Quincy Jones and brothers: Michael, Melvin Lee Jr., Alfred (Jackson) and Dexter (Webster).

Ms. Jones is survived by her sons: Laterrance Jackson (Serena) and Ryan Khalil Jones

(Atiah) and was blessed with nine grandchildren: Laterrance II, Martia, David, Darren,

Tavion, James, Kari (Littles), Elias, and Amir.

Ms. Jones is survived by her Six siblings: Lille Ruth, Leroy, Brenda, Armentha, Dwight, and Angela; Two dearest friends Kelly Reeves and Debra Shepard.

From an early age, Ms. Jones was known as a healer of the sick and defender of those

too weak to defend themselves. She followed her youthful passion into the nursing

profession where she dedicated over forty years of her life to helping those in need.

She will be missed by those whose lives she affected as a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her spirit, influence and fond memories will live strong within all who were blessed to know her.
