Mrs. Dorothy Faye Greathouse was born January 3, 1951 in Tallapoosa County Alabama. She is the eldest of two children to Mr. Luther Tolbert, and the late Ms. Rhodie Maud Fielder.
She joined Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later joined Holy Temple Ministries in Alexander City. Alabama.
She departed this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Russell Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Rhodie Maud Fielder. Her grandparents Homer and Mary W. Fielder. Brothers Ira Tolbert, Eddie B. Tolbert, and Richard Tolbert.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Joe Na than Greathouse, one daughter Shirley Holley, both of Millbrook, AL. Her father, Mr. Luther Tolbert of Alexander City, AL. Two grandkids: ShaParis Mitchell and Semajay Holley of Millbrook, AL. Two great grandkids: Paisley and Braylen Holley of Alexander City, AL. Three sisters: Shirley (Cecil) Crayton of Jackson’s Gap, AL; Tracy (Christopher) Blakely of Atlanta, GA; Annie Doris Brooks of Alexander City, AL. One brother, Luther Tolbert Jr. of Alexander City, AL. Two sisters-in-law: Betty (J.D.) Belyue and Jerri Ann Tolbert both of Alexander City, AL. One Aunt, Ms. Francis Johnson of Hemstead, NY. Two Special Nieces: Yolanda Riggins and Cynthia Tolbert, a special nephew, Cecil Tolbert Jr. all of Jackson’s Gap, AL. A special cousin Linda Burton of Alexander City, AL. A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
