Diane Boleware was born on August 20, 1950 to the
late Mr. James L. Payne and the late Izora Johnson Payne in
Alexander City, Alabama.
From an early age, she accepted Christ and united with Early
Rose Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful
servant of the Lord throughout her life.
Diane dedicated over 30 years to teaching Sunday school and
served in numerous capacities within the church always with
a heart full of love and devotion to God. She retired after
35 years of employment at Russell Mill and continued to
demonstrate her entrepreneurial spirit as the co-owner of a
wedding boutique.
On Friday December 6, 2024 Diane Boleware departed this
life surrounded by loved ones. She was known for her kindness
and sweet nature. Diane was beloved by all who knew her. She
was preceded in death by several loved ones.
Diane’s memory will be cherished by her devoted Husband
of 50 years, Mr. Donald Boleware; two loving daughters,
Cynthia Boleware of Birmingham, Alabama, and Tameka
Wyckoff (Dr. Erich Wyckoff) of Gainesville, Florida; one
brother, William Payne of Alexander City, Alabama; two
sisters, Lois (John) Marbury of Alexander City, Alabama and
Wanda Faye Payne Pugh of Alexander City, Alabama; two
brother-in-laws, Robert (Martha) Boleware Jr., and Jimmy
(Laura) Boleware of Alexander City, Alabama; and one
sister- in-law, Mrs. Eunice Slaughter.
Her memory will also be cherished by her loving grandchildren
whom she loved dearly, Kayla Boleware, Kobe Boleware, Erich
Wyckoff II, Kennedy Wyckoff, and Aston Wyckoff, as well as a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend,
Mrs. Elaine Smith; her legacy of love, service and faith will
remain in the hearts of those who knew
