Ms. Cathy Harrison was born on February 27, 1957 to the late George Blue and Ray Dean Leonard.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Good Grove Baptist Church in Elmore County, Alabama. Later she joined the Candle Lite On the Hill Church in Goodwater, Alabama under Pastor Joann Butler.
Cathy attended Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama and worked at Tyson Food for 20+ years. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Mr. Occie Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents: George Blue and Ray Dean Leonard; Two sons: Eric Harrison and Rico Harrison and her sister, Jeanette Leonard. Cathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother in law, and friend.
May 21, 2024 Cathy departed this walk of life at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.
Cathy Harrison leaves a legacy of precious memories to be forever cherished by her loving and devoted husband, of 47 years Mr. Occie Harrison. A loving mother in law, Gladys Harrison. 6 grandkids: Erresha Ellis (Timothy Ellis) of Kingsland, GA; Misha Harrison of Alexander City, AL; Eric Harrison, Jr. of Ashland, AL; Kamari Edwards of Goodwater, AL; Rihanna Harrison and Armani Harrison of Talladega, AL; 2 great grandchildren: Na’Tajia Ellis and Kahlonia Ellis of Kingsland, GA. 1 brother, George Edward Belyeu of Eclectic, AL; 4 Sisters: Lendia Culpepper and Leshia Riggins both of Alexander City, AL; Louise Harrell of Montgomery, AL, & Helen Benson of Wetumpka, AL; 2 daughters in law: Tanya Harrison of Alexander City, AL and Yolanda Hester of Talladega, AL. 2 sisters in law: Margie (Shon) Garrett of Goodwater, AL and Pastor JoAnn Butler of Alexander City, AL. 2 brothers in law: Marriel Harrison Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Tony (Helen) Harrison of Jonesboro, GA. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, & nephews; 2 close friends Annie Wilson & Robbie Smith.
