Sister Alean Johnson, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmtother, sister, and friend. She was born February 14, 1921 in Vincent, Alabama. She was born to the late Eugene Slaughter and Lou Pearson.
On Sunday, July 14, 2019, she departed this life surrounded with love of her family.
Sister Johnson loved God and united with the Seleeta Baptist Church at an early age. She sang in the choir until she became disable. She served on the mission board.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Floyd Johnson, Sr., parents, 10 siblings, 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Sister Alean’s legacy and lifetime of memories will always be cherished by the ones she love and the ones who love her: loving and devoted children 4 daughters, Betty Johnson of Alexander City, AL, Alice Rowe of Alexander City, AL, Doris Johnson of Alexander City, AL, Brenda Norris of Alexander City, AL, 2 sons Floyd Johnson (Ethel) of Alexander City, AL, Jerry Johnson of Alexander City, AL, 1brother, JT Slaughter (Dorothy) of Oklahoma City, OK, 49 grandchildren, 125 great grandchildren, and 117 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friend Ruth Hicks, and 1 god daughter Dorothy Fuller
