He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Willie Whetstone Sr. and his mother Mrs. Clara Whetstone Kirkland, one brother Mr. Frank Green of Odena, Alabama, and sister Brenda Whetstone Walker

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mrs. Ida Whetstone, two sisters Mrs. Shirley Ann Leonard (Matthew) of Odena, Alabama and Mrs. Monique
