Mr. Willie Louis Kennedy was born March 30, 1951 in Goodwater, AL to the late Mr. Alex D. Kennedy Sr., and Mrs. Lessie M. Kennedy.
At an early age Willie accepted Christ into his life, being a Baptist believer he loved music and was gifted to play the drums, guitar, piano, and key board. He played at
Marietta Baptist Church for many years where he served as the music director.
After graduating from J.D. Thompson High School, Willie joined the United States Military.
Willie transitioned to eternal life on January 7, 2026 surrounded by his love ones. He was preceded in death by his parents Alex Sr. and Lessie Kennedy, his sister Fannie Harris, and his brother Alex Kennedy Jr.
He is survived by and leaves to cherish his memories his children: Mr. Johnathan (Jessica) Kennedy, Mr. Chris Kennedy, Mr. Brandon (Tyler) Kennedy, Ms. Michelle Kennedy, and Ms. Reshanda Maxwell; grandchildren: Breaunna Watts, Arsheema (Michael) Adair, LaPorsha (Tariz) Walker, Cerpatrick Maxwell, and Labrandon (Olivia) Maxwell; Sisters: Lillian (Perry) Slaughter, Arlinda (EJ) Knight, and Beverlyn Kennedy Banks; Two brothers, Stinson (Carolyn) Kennedy and Fredrick (Jane) Kennedy; brothers-in-law, James (Yvonne) Moore and John Harris; Sister-in-law Angilesa Kennedy, and a host of other special nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
