Steve Phillips, 67, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday March 6th, 2024.
He was born October 7th, 1956 to the late McClinton and Birdell Russell Phillips in Alexander City, AL. He has resided in Florida for the last 20 years where he was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Springfield, FL.
He is survived by wife of over 45 years Loretta Phillips of Panama City, FL; Daughter, Stephanie Phillips (Jason); Sons: Michael Phillips, Don White, and Brandon Phillips (Violet). 11 grandchildren: Alissa, Alajah, Alyric, Tanaiyah, Brantaina, Andrew, and Stephen all of Panama City, FL, Michaela and Justice of Bronson, FL, Amonie and Amarie of Oklahoma; great granddaughter Kacee; Nieces: Diana Shealey, Bernadette Benson, and Veronica Benson of Alexander City, AL, Teresa Keil of Mobile AL, Violita Russell of Virginia. Sister-in-law Mrs. Virginia Ann Russell; And a host of other relatives, friends and family.
Steve was the definition of a patriarch. He prided himself in taking care of his family and maintained that role until the very end. We are truly grateful to have him as a dad, granddad uncle or just to know him. He was truly loved and will truly be missed.
