Mr. Samuel Lewis Foster Sr. was born January 01, 1957 to the late Mrs. Jessie Mae Foster Thomas and Mr. Billy Hicks.
At a early age he joined the Haven United Methodist Church. He was an active member of the church choir and assisted with collecting members dues for his grandmother Mrs. Emma Thomas.
After finishing high school, he decided to join the Army National Guard 214 in Alexander City, AL. He loved what he did and was a great salesman. He worked for Jefferson Furniture Store, The Cheap Furniture Store, and Farmer’s Furniture. Regardless of is health and condition, he kept moving and pushing forward.
He is proceeded in death by his parents: Mrs. Jessie Mae Foster Thomas and Mr. Billy Hicks, grandmother Emma Thomas, and son: Mr. Lucrease Leonard.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Mr. Samuel L. Foster Jr.(Rachel) of Virginia, Mrs. Remika Leonard Crayton (Alfred) of Alabama, & Ms. Retunda Leonard of Alabama. Sister, Ms. Linda Hicks of Arizona; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grand children.
His companion that was dear to his heart, Ms. Jennifer Pearson of Alexander City, AL. She stood by his side during his sickness, in and out of the hospital, taking him back and forth to the doctor, etc. We greatly appreciate all that you have done.
