Mr. Raymond Bernard Buchanan

Mr. Raymond Bernard Buchanan was born on November 8, 1959 to the late Mr. Benjamin and Mrs. Betty Jean Buchanan.

Raymond transitioned from this life on October 18, 2025 at the age of 65.

Raymond was a graduate of the 1978 Benjamin Russell High School Class. After high school, Raymond furthered his education to Grand View University in Iowa graduating 1982.

Raymond had a great passion for basketball. His passion, talents, and love for the game landed him over seas in 1984 playing for teams in both South America and Europe.

In 1985 Raymond met the love of his life, his wife Mrs. Marcela Acuna in Argentina. They married in 1990 and to this union three children were born.

Mr. Raymond leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Marcela Buchanan; Three children: Victoria Buchanan, Malcolm Buchanan, and Raymond Buchanan Jr.; One brother Mr. Benjamin (Patricia) Buchanan; One sister Mrs. Anita (Ray) Foster; A host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
