Mr. Primus Norvell Kelly Jr.

Mr. Primus Norvell Kelly Jr. was born August 11, 1938, to the late Primus & Lilly Kelly in Goodwater, Alabama.

 He gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Goodwater, Alabama, where he remained faithful throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by  his beloved parents, Primus & Lilly Kelly; his cherished wife of 63 years, Annie O. Kelly; two daughters, Cynitha Lynn & Margarita; one son, Norvell Jr.; six brothers: Sammie, Weldon,  Junior, Lorenza, Charles, and Willy Jay; one sister, Annie Mal.

Primus was a man of simple pleasures who found great joy in fishing during his spare time. His love for family was evident in the strong bonds he maintained throughout his life.

He leaves to cherish his memories his four children: Jeffery Kelly of Goodwater, AL Kathy (Alton) Williams of Sylacauga, AL, Carol (Johnny) Wood of Goodwater, AL, & Lesia (Bruce) Holden of Atlanta, GA; Two brothers, Calvin (Debra) Kelly and Bennie (Debra) Kelly both of Goodwater, AL; One sister, Olamae Hoyett of Alexander City, AL; 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 16 Great-Great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Primus Norvell Kelly Jr. lived a life of faith, family, and love. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched and the family he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
