Mr. Moryce Leonard Obituary

Moryce Leonard was born July 20, 1953, in Hissop,
AL. Into the union of Archie Leonard, Jr. and
Mattie Lou (Maxwell) Leonard (both who preceded
him in death). Moryce was one of three children:
Archie Royce Leonard, and Cedric Leonard (who
preceded him in death).
Moryce was a strong and determined individual who
was always his authentic self. His talents were
diverse and vast, and he was always willing to
leverage them to achieve his goals for himself and
others. Moryce served in the ARMY RA in 1973
stationed in Germany. He moved to Milwaukee, WI
in 1977, found employment, and was an
entrepreneur in the trades (construction). He held a
number of different jobs until he returned to
Alexander City, AL in 1997.
Moryce had many skills, attributes, and hobbies. He
was an expert player of billiards/pool holding many
tournament and championship titles. Moryce was
mysterious, direct, and downright charismatic. But
most importantly, he was a man who loved his
family, and those he called friends.
Moryce leaves to cherish his memory, wife Jessie
Leonard of Milwaukee, WI, his significant other Sue
Ford of Goodwater, AL, his children- Terrell
(La Shanda) Gaddis of Goodwater, AL, Giovanni
Fitzgerald (Comerly) Johnson of Chelsea, AL ,
Megan S. Leonard, Marlissa S. Leonard both of
Milwaukee, WI , One sibling-Archie R.(Earnestine)
Leonard of Milwaukee, WI. Grandchildren- Tyjusin,
Omar, Latavius, Giovanni Jr. and a host of uncles,
aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family members
and friends.
