Mr. Morgan Lee Allen

Mr. Morgan L. Allen was born to Mr. Tellis and Mary L. Allen on March 16, 1956 in Alexander City, Alabama.

He joined Cross Key Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and began his Christian Education.  He graduated from BRHS and went to work on various jobs. Morgan enlisted in the U. S. Army and was in the 3rd Armored Division in Gelhausen, Germany.  After military service, he went to Trade School and became a Plumber.  He later was employed in manufacturing Textile and Automotive until he retired. 

Morgan truly enjoyed Sunday School, Church, Alabama Football, Basketball and Billiards when he could play. In his adult life, he joined Miracle Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Eddie L. Hunter and present Pastor Trent Williams. There he was a faithful member until is death. My brother and I spent many days talking about church, Jesus, prayer, sports and Fox News.

Morgan departed this life on April 24, 2023 at his residence.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Allen; his father, Tellis ‘Jack’ Allen; Brothers: Calvin, Robert, and Michael Richardson; Grandson, Chase Bolton.

He leaves to cherish his memories: A daughter, Tamara H. Kendrick of Kileen, TX; Three sons: Emmett Bolton (Sharada) of Chesapeake, VA, Cedric Bolton (Shay), & Michael Bolton both of Alexander City, AL; Grand children: Naliaha Kendrick, Lamont Smith, Imani Bolton, Aniya Bolton, Marquavious Perry, & Sky Bolton; A sister, Sara Files (Earnest) of Alexander City, AL; Three sisters in laws: Mrs. Lois Brooks of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Icie Allen and Mrs. Doreatha Richardson all of Alexander City, AL; Two brothers in law: Earnest J. Files and Nolen Jackson of Alexander City, AL; Two aunts: Mrs. Annie J. Kendrick and Mrs. Luphenia Allen of Alexander City, AL; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
