Michael “Mike” Lugene Marbury was born on June 4, 1962, to Lugene Marbury and the late Ruby Dawson in Goodwater, AL.
Mike transitioned to eternal life on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Russell Medical Center, Alexander City, Alabama.
After graduating from Goodwater High School, he served in the United States Marines for three years. He later worked at Russell Corporation for several years.
However, his heart was in carpentry, so he started his own business, serving Goodwater and surrounding areas. Mike had a passion for helping people, even on his weary days, no was never the answer.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Dawson and his father Leverge Dawson.
Mike’s life will forever be cherished by his wife, Jennifer Marbury, his siblings: Steve Marbury, Terrence Marbury, Rodney Marbury, and Leatorra Dawson, all of Goodwater, AL. Mike will also be cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandmother and close friends.
