On April 14, 1956, Leonard Peoples was born in Thomasville, Alabama, to the late Lula Lee Peoples and Edward James Pope.
Leonard was a faithful member of Greater Works Outreach Ministry under watchful eye of Bishop Eddie Edwards.
He accepted the Lord at a young age. He was beloved and respected by everyone he met from Alabama to Texas. He enjoyed helping people in any way he could. He became be a preacher and continued living his life serving the Lord. Leonard will be greatly miss by both Texas and Alabama communities, friends, church members, and family.
Leonard Pope Peoples was called home on September 14, 2021, at home. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Moselle Carlton.
Leonard leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Mrs. Luretha Peoples. Three sons Jason Edwards, Justin Peoples, and Leonard Peoples Jr. and a daughter LaTonya Patterson. Four grandkids; Ja’Mya Edwards, Ny’Trevis Peoples, Va’Nylia Southall, and Afeni Russell and a great granddaughter Paytience Naveah Peoples. His brother Paul (Vanessa) Peoples. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family.
