Mr. Larry Welcher Obituary

 

Mr. Larry Wade Welcher was born to the late Bessie Mae Marbury and Elijah Welch. He attended the Washington Street ACOP Church, where Bishop Jewel Thomas is the Pastor. He received his education in the Tallapoosa County School System and later joined the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Mae Marbury, father, Elijah Welch, two sisters, Annie Darby, Dollie Mae Welch, four brothers, Ellis Welch, Howard D. Marbury, Jimmy L. Smith, and Jerry Welch.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His companion of 29 years, Shirley Faye Holley. His daughters, Shanika (Kelvin) Welch and Tara Welch of Mobile Alabama, Shonda Spivey, and Kaniya Welcher of Alexander City. His son, Larry Broadnax of Mobile Alabama. His stepsons, Brian, Randy, Trevor, and Jeremy Holley of Alexander City. His Brothers Harry (Sarah) Pearson of Pell City, Jesse (Vicky) Welch of Detroit Michigan, his sister Shirley Darby of Alexander City. His special family, Wanda Law, Barbara Henderson, Phyliss Russaw, Waydean Payne, Mr. James Michael Jennings, and Mr. J.C Doss. A special niece, Denise Welch of Chicago, IL. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
