Larry Alonza Marbury was born in Alexander City, Alabama to the late
James and Lula Mae Marbury. He was the loving grandson of Eunice Lovejoy Tuck.

Larry was a graduate of Laurel High School, Class of 1966. He was a member of the High School Band, Student Council Parliamentarian, Honor Society and Class Salutatorian. He was a member of Haven United Methodist Church, where he once served as a Youth Sunday School Teacher.


He continued his education at the Alex City Junior College, after completing the Junior College, he enrolled at Auburn University in the School of Pharmacy. Upon graduating from Auburn University with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree, Larry begin his career by purchasing a drugstore in Birmingham. Eventually he sold the drugstore in Birmingham and purchased another in
Mobile. After selling the store in Mobile he was employed by several pharmacies.


He leaves to celebrate his life his beloved children; Jumaane and NaAhinee Hoyett and four grandchildren. One Aunt Jeannette Boddie. A devoted nephew, Scottie Marbury and loving cousins, Lisa and Randy Boddie, best friend David Boleware and nieces, nephews, relatives, classmates, and friends.
