Jimmy Lee Norris was born on August 8, 1953 to the parents of Willie Lee & Willie Jo Norris at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, AL. Jimmy Lee Norris accepted Christ at an early age. Jimmy Lee Norris moved from Goodwater, AL to Alexander City, AL and later joined Cedar Grove AOH Church of God (named changed to ACOP) until his death on July 9, 2020.
Jimmy loved to drive, be driven, being a taxi-driver to various people in the neighborhood who needed a ride and being a help to the elderly. Jimmy would even shape and cut their nails too. He also loved to sit on the back porch and read his little orange bible while drinking his morning coffee. Jimmy Lee Norris truly loved the Lord!
The late Jimmy Lee Norris is survived by his wife (Alisa Colvin-Norris, Alexander City, AL, Two living daughters: (Jyvette Watkins, Hopkinsville, KY, (Laurel Norris-Chillous, Alexander City, AL (the late Larissa Norris, Alexander City, AL), Four step children: (Derrick Daniels, Birmingham, AL, (Tarmera Wyckoff, Richmond, TX), (Alfred (Nicki) Wyckoff, Jacksonville, AL), (Durell (Tierra) Holley, Huntsville, AL), one godson (Aaron (Brianne) Carlisle, Parrish, FL) one sister ( Bettye Norris-Smith, Alexander City, AL), one sister-in-law (Angela (Oscar) Durant, Jacksonville, AL) & (Pearlie Norris, Alexander City, AL), one Father-in-law (William Colvin, Alexander City, AL), four brothers: (Dwayne Norris, Alexander City, AL) (Robert (Arlene) Norris, Kellyton, AL) (Ronnie (Anne) Norris, Goodwater, AL) & (Bobby Rae (Val) Norris, Alexander City, AL), a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends & classmates of 1972.
