Mr. Adair was born in Ashland, AL on July 1, 1941 to the late Jessie and Ammie Inez Craig Adair.
Mr. Adair accepted Christ at an early age and united with Paradise Mission Full Gospel in Goodwater, AL. He served faithfully until his health began to decline.
Mr. Adair was a very sweet, loving, kind humble, and generous man. He had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. He loved helping and giving to his family, friends, and anyone who needed it. He had a love for dancing, playing dominoes, and having a good time with family and friends. His loving spirit will truly be missed.
Early Sunday morning, August 6, 2023, Mr. Jessie Dennis Adair heard his Master whisper “Well Done Thy Good And Faithful Servant, Ener Thou Into The Joy Of The Lord” where he joins his wives: Frankie Adair & Clarese Adair, parents: Jessie and Ammie Adair, two daughters: Sharon and Wanda Adair; son, John Adair; six brothers: Linberg, Bobby, Nathaniel, Elijah, Moses, and Benjamin Adair; two sisters: Shirley Ann Wilson and Henrietta Smith.
Mr. Adair leaves to cherish his loving memories: three sons: Martin Luther (Mashelle) McElrath of North Dinwiddle, VA. Michael Dennis (Pearl) Adair of Goodwater, AL, and Kerry Alanda (Melissa) Adair of Dadeville, AL; one daughter, Gwendolyn Joyce (David) Woodard of Alexander City, AL; one brother, Arthur (Minnie) Adair of Goodwater, AL. Eleven grandchildren: Jason McElrath, Wanda (Coshya) Vines, Marcus Adair, Martina McElrath, Trivia (Deondrell) Marshall, Alex (Arsheema) Adair, Sabria Williams, Troy Adair, Simone Adair, Alandus Adair and Kerry Adair, twelve great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
