OBITUARY of Mr. James Autry Rowe
The late Mr. James Autry Rowe passed on October 4, 2023 at Jackson’s Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.
Mr. Rowe was born on September 6, 1949 to the late Mr. Oliver J. and Mrs. Mattie L. Rowe.
He graduated from Laurel High School in 1968 under the leadership of Mr. N. H. Stephens. After graduating, he moved from
Alexander City, Alabama to reside in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a skilled carpenter and bricklayer. He worked at many other jobs as needed.
Mr. Rowe was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Connie J. Maxwell and to this union one child was born, Tabetha Rowe.
Both parents, three sisters: Betty J. Hawkins, Billie J. Westbrooks, and Linda S. Hawkins. Wife, Connie J. Maxwell and one child preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Tabetha Rowe. One granddaughter, Kayliana Sweetwyne. A sister, Mary Lois Peterson. Three brothers: Joseph Hawkins, Bennie Roy (Gwendolyn) Rowe, of Alexander City, Alabama and David Rowe of Montgomery, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
