It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Henry Lee Hoyett, who departed this life on August 21, 2025 at the age of 93 at Adams Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Alexander City, AL.
Henery Lee Hoyett was born on October 23, 1931 in Coosa County to Essie Hoyett & Vadie Leonard Hoyett. He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined Peace & Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church. He was a hard working man in the logging profession until his health failed him.
He is survived by four sisters: Annie Laura Chapman of Kellyton, AL), Elma Lee (Rev. Fred Lee) of Rockford, AL, Katie R. Owens of Goodwater, AL & Lue V. Whetstone of Rockford, AL; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Mr. Hoyett was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Essie & Vadie Leonard; Brothers: Wilson Hoyett, Selma Hoyett, and Ephriam Hoyett; One Sister Essie Mae Hoyett.
Throughout his life, Henry Lee enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family; he had so much love for children especially his nieces & nephews. He will be remembered for being straightforward, his distinct smile, and his sense of humor.
