Elliot Lee Wright was born on August 4, 1956 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Osteen and Mary Alice Lewis Wright. After the death of his mother, his family planted new roots in New York. After graduating from high school, Lee joined the military where he accumulated many awards and accomplishments. While in the military, Lee had a passion for his job and a great passion for music.
During his free time, along with some of his friends, he would deejay for many of the troops. Also while in the military when he was in Germany, Lee met his future wife, Kim Harrell.
Lee and Kim Wright were united in Holy Matrimony for forty-three years. To this union, three daughters were born. #girldad
He leaves to cherish his memories, his three daughters, Natasha (Derrick) Hutchins of Alexander City, AL, Sonya (Terence) Corprew of Calera, AL, and Brittany (Michael) Moten of Alexander City, AL. Three brothers, Otis Wright Jr. Of Anderson, SC, Reginald (Carmen) Sampson and Jeffrey (Celeste) Sampson both of The Bronx, NY, and one sister, Annastayesa Wright of Conyers, GA. Six Grandchildren, JaDerrick Harrell, JaTasia Harrell, Jamia Harrell, Jazlynn Corprew, JaMichael Moten, and Journee Moten, and one great granddaughter Jaylee Tuck. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and an honorary step mother, Virginia Moret of The Bronx, NY.
