Mr. Elijah Tarez Lewis

Elijah Tarez Lewis was born July 21, 2004 to Ms. Erika Minnifield and the late Mr. Tarus Lewis.

He accepted Christ at an early age at Early Rose Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Princeton High School. He departed his life on Thursday December 29, 2022 at Russell Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Tarus Lewis.

Elijah leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted mother, Ms. Erika Minnifield of Alexander City, AL; Godparents: Katherine and Cassius Harrison of Goodwater, AL; a devoted brother, D’vontae Benson of Alexander City, AL; two sisters: Re’Nigia Harkins of Birmingham, AL and Toccara Lewis of Alexander City, AL;  grandparents: Ms. Joann Minnifield and Ms. Alice Jean Lewis both of Alexander City, AL; great-grandparents: Ms. Johnnie Minnifield and Ms. Carolyn Lewis both of Alexander City, AL, Ms. Johnnie Goodgame of Goodwater, AL; three aunts: Sharonda Hawse of Tuscaloosa, AL, Quenita Mccain of Alexander City, AL, and special aunt, Tanita Minnifield of Douglasville, GA; three uncles: Christopher Minnifield of Senoya, GA, Anthony and Derrick Lewis both of Alexander City, AL; two nieces: Kaitlyn and Jazzlyn Benson both of Alexander City, AL. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
