Eddie Lee Bailey “Nat” was born March 24, 1949 to Mary Lois Peavy Ross and Frederick Douglas Bailey in Waverly, AL.
Eddie was a transporting truck driver by profession, employed by surrounding area distribution centers and companies until his retirement. He was a personal craftsman using skills he learned from family, friends, and employment as one of his many hobbies.
Eddie always looked forward to seasonal fishing and hunting with family and friends. Being an avid gardener, he stressed to his loved ones of knowing how to live off of the land. “You never know when you might have to”, was his saying.
He never met a stranger, his signature charismatic smile and humorous conversation always left a memorable impression. He quote: “If you just listen, I’m trying to tell you something.”
Eddie crossed over into peace on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 12:15a.m. at Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.
He leaves to mourn: his children: Yolanda Miller, Casandra Moon Holley, and Regina Miller; Siblings: Tommy Ross, Aretha Ford, and Michelle Ross; A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
“LOVE YOU DADDY, ALWAYS WITH US YOUR SPIRIT LIVES”
