Michael A. Russell

Michael Anthony Russell was the son of Sammy Marbury and Carolyn Marbury.  He was born on September 20, 1964 in Alexander City, Alabama.

Michael at a mature age acknowledged God, believed in Jesus, and confessed with his mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord.  Michael was a part of Benjamin Russell High School Class of 1983.  Michael spend majority of his professional career owing a detail shop until he became disable.  He departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Michael’s son, Lamarcus Russell, grandparents, aunts and uncles preceded him in death.

Michael is survived by his mother and father, Carolyn and Sammy Marbury.  Brothers: Kenneth Bernard Russell, Scotty Marbury.  Sisters: Carla Palmer and Sharon Chandler.

Mourning his loss are his children: Chiquia Ware, Ashley Ware, Juwanna Benson, Bianca Moon, Montez Kelly, Akeem Holloway and his ten grandchildren.

Constant in his life were his loving nieces and nephews: Dlajiah Marbury, Devin White, Kylee Marbury, Kentavious Ford, Curtis Moon and Marcus Sweetwyne

Michael leaves behind a host of friends and family that we know loved him dearly.
