Lawrence Crawford Harrell

Deacon Lawrence Crawford Harrell, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend was born on October 16, 1956 to the late Ethel Mae Harrell in Alexander City, AL. He transitioned to his heavenly home on Monday November 24, 2025.

Lawrence Harrell graduated from Benjamin Russell Highschool in 1975 and continued his education at Alabama State University.

He confessed is life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful servant to the Lord. Mr. Harrell was a devoted and passionate member and deacon at Perfect Peace Missionary Baptist Church.

On August 7, 1982, Lawrence married the love of his life Mrs. Sherry A. Harrell.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Harrell; mother Ethel Mae Harrell; three sisters: Betty Moten, Hattie Parker, & Vera Harrell; four brothers: Richard Harrell, Thomas Harrell, Walter Harrell, & Sherman Harrell; mother and father-in-law Shirley Shelton and Abraham Shelton Jr.; sister-in-law Shelia Burks.

He leaves in God’s care a brother Larry Harrell; sister-in-law Sharrell Haygood (Benard); brother-in-law Sean Shelton (Nicole); aunts Laura Shelton-Carr and Reseda Shelton-Norris; brother/friend Lewis Daniel (Gwen); two Godchildren Morgan Daniel Scott (Gavin) and Brandon Daniel (Marquette); A host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
