Lakressa was born one of eight children to Jennie Lou Robinson. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Great Bethel Baptist Church.
Lakressa was a hard worker from the age of 16 until her health failed. She worked and retired from Russell Corporation and Wal-Mart. Then, she worked at Brown Nursing Home and the Veterans Nursing Home all located in Alexander City, Alabama.
Lakressa was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lewis Knight.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, the Lord said, “It’s time to rest from your labor.”
Lakressa leaves to cherish her memories, Daughters: Lakissia (Frendick) Perry and Tyesha Benson. Two grand kids: R’Tavzah Culpepper and Oras Driver, Jr. Four brothers: Rodney (Tiffany) Robinson, Warren Robinson, David (Tiffany) Robinson and Johnricus Robinson. Two sisters: Joanne Robinson and Sacra (Rev. Al) Lawson all of Alexander City, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
