Ms. Russell departed this life on Sunday December 18, 2022 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Arthur L. Russell and Mrs. Peggy C. Russell and brother Robert Lynn Russell.

Ms. Gwendolyn J. Russell leaves to cherish her loving memories: Life partner, Anthony Williams. Two sons: Marcus M. Russell (Quanika) and Anthony D. Russell (Sherrita) of Alexander City, AL. Four brothers: Arthur F. Russell (Jewel), Orlando D. Russell, Anthony B. Russell and Dwight D. Russell (Yolanda) all of Alexander City, AL. Two sisters: Peggy V. Russell and Lashonda W. Russell both of Alexander City, AL. Four Aunts: Emma J. Benson, Augusta Russell, and Mamie Norris of Alexander City, AL and Roberta Burnell of Santa Ana, CA. Ten grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Life time friends: Elizabeth Russell, Rita Johnson, Jackie Wyckoff, and Gail Thomas.
