Born on October 10, 1940 in Clay County, AL. David Wilson gracefully transitioned on December 21, 2025 surrounded by his family. He accepted Christ in his life and was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Goodwater, AL.
David was a strong and determined individual. He was a logger for awhile and he worked for Madix where he retired from.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Darby Wilson & Mrs. Arthurine Adair; Brother, Lanell Wilson; Sisters: Mary Wilson & Doris Wilson
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife of Twenty-Nine years, Mrs. Mary Gene Wilson; 3 daughters: Sharon Anderson (Roy) of Seattle, WA, Catherine Hines (Curtis) of Texas, & Frances Smith of Lincoln, AL; 2 sons: Rick Wilson (Angela) of Lineville, AL & Jerome Wilson (Missy) of Opelika, AL; Brother, Greg Wilson of Kellyton, AL; Sisters, Jerry Wilson of Georgia, Pearl Wilson and Carolyn Wilson both of Clay County, AL; A host of other relatives & friends.
