The life of Tarus Royerus Lewis AKA “Red” began May 23. 1976 in Alexander City, AL to Alice Jean Lewis and Quinton McCain. Tarus loved his family and he was loved by many. He loved to travel and he almost completed training for his CDL License at Central Alabama Community College.
Tarus was preceded in death by his father, Quinton McCain and a special aunt, Geraldine Lewis and a host of other family members.
Tarus leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving mother, Alice Lewis. 2 children: Elijah and Toccara Lewis all of Alexander City, AL. 3 brothers: Anthony and Derrick Lewis of Alexander City, AL and Tony Burton of Dadeville, AL.2 sisters: Quenita McCain and Nicole Spivey both of Alexander City, AL. A loving grandmother, Carolyn Lewis of Alexander City, AL. 2 nieces: Saniyah and Grace. 6 nephews:Antavious, Anthony Jr., Nukerrial, Chace, Derrick, Jr., and Phillip. 2 aunts: Rosenia Payne and Dollie Mae Toler. 6 Uncles: Kenneth Lewis (Candace), Benny Lewis, Eugene Lewis (Bernice), Dwight Lewis, Trence Lewis and Henry McCain, Sr. and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
