Kathy 'Kat' Cunningham

Mrs. Kathy Ann Pogue Cunningham was born November 28, 1962 to the late Mr. Horace and Mrs. Shirley Ann Brooks Pogue.

Kathy departed this walk of life Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her residence.  She accepted Christ at an early age, was an active member at Jehovah Jireh. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Miss Classie Mae Pogue.

Kathy leaves to cherish her loving memories: four loving daughters: Tyonia ‘Tasha’, Sonya, April and Nicole all of Alexander City, AL. 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  1 step-daughter, Shemekia Glenn.  Six brothers: Willie Horace Pogue of Jackson’s Gap, AL; Michael Pogue (Barbara) of Dadeville, AL; David Crayton, Malcolm Simmons both of Dadeville, AL; Willie Crayton and Charles Crayton both of Jackson’s Gap, AL. three sisters: Michelle Slaughter (Kerry) of Dadeville, AL; Yolanda Devero (Anthony) of Alpine, AL, and Brenda Tinsley (Melvin) of Jackson’s Gap, AL.  One uncle, Matthew Brooks of Cleveland, OH.  Six aunts: Mary Lois Shealey of Hartford, CT; Jonell Pogue of Camp Hill, AL; Hozell Pogue of Alexander City, AL; Sarah Hill of Ontario, CA, Bertha (Terry) Stowes and Annie Brooks both of Alexander City, AL.  A special friend, Angela Slaughter.  A host of great uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and friends.
