Kardeem Allen Obituary

 

Kardeem Lee Allen was born October 15, 1992 to the Late Carol Diane Allen in Flint, Michigan at Hurley Medical Center.

 

Kardeem Allen was called home on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Mundelein, Illinois.

 

He confessed Christ and was baptized on March 21, 2009 at Second Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Beaufort, South Carolina. He participated in the Youth Department under the Leadership of Reverend Michael Haskins.

 

He graduated from the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind on May 30, 2013. Kardeem’s Motto was “Deaf people can do anything in life.” He embraced being Deaf and was a pillar in the community. He was loved by many. While attending school Kardeem competed in Varsity football, basketball, track and he loved fishing.

 

He was preceded in death by his dear beloved Mother Carol Diane Allen, Grandmother Erma Ruth Bilbrew, Grandfather Harvey Byrd, Grandfather Willie Allen, Aunts Joyce and Vanessa Bilbrew and Sister Latrece Monique Bilbrew.

 

He leaves to cherish his memory to his parents Christopher and Erica Bilbrew of Beaufort, SC; Grandmother Albertha Lewis of Beaufort, SC;  One Brother Perrie Sterling of Beaufort, SC; One Sister Sacorra (Paul) White of Beaufort, SC; Three Aunts: Nina Bilbrew of Montgomery, AL; Sharon Byrd of Memphis, TN; Katrina Byrd of Jackson, MS;  Four Great Aunts: Jeannette Williams of Oakland, CA;  Laney (John) Echols of Tuskegee, AL, Martha Williams and Lola Bridges of Alexander City, AL; Four Uncles: Victor Bilbrew of Chicago, IL; Reginald Byrd of Chesapeake, VA;  Kenneth Byrd  of Jackson, MS; Willie (Willie) Allen Jr of Alexander City, AL; Two  Great Uncles: Larry (Elener) Wyckoff of Alexander City, AL and Emory (Mary) Wyckoff of Shreveport, LA ; Family friends Perry Sterling of Waukegan, Illinois and Georgia (Larry) Deloach of Beaufort, SC and a host of family and friends.
