Angela 'Niecy' Denise (Leonard) Bohannon

Ms. Angela Denise Leonard was born on September 21, 1960 to the late Sara Lynn Leonard and the late William Robinson.

On July 9, 2017 she completed her journey and was called home to rest.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Lynn Leonard,father, William Robinson, sister, Jacqueline Leonard and her grandparents.

‘Niecy’ attended church at an early age and continued when possible.  She graduated from Benjamin Russell  High School the class of 1978.  She had a love for people.  She loved her family and her friends.  In fact, if you were her friend, you were her family.  She loved caring for others.  She really loved children. Angela loved to cook and enjoy family and friends.  Angela was an Eastern Star of the Adams chapter #685. She was currently employed at Chapman Nursing Home in the Dietary Department.  She formally worked at Avondale Mills, Madix and First Baptist Church.

Angela leaves to cherish her precious memories: Two sons: Carlos Leonard  and Raymo Keyan Leonard of Alexander City, AL.  Four grandchildren: Denote Gaddis, Breanna Smith, Jamar Leonard and Ja’Travion Leonard  all of Alexander City, AL. Two brothers William Bush of Wadley, AL and William Chapman of Alexander City, AL.Six sisters: Katrina Bush, Cynthia Weaver of Alexander City, AL; Tracie Thomas of Wadley, AL; Rosalyn (Robert) Burton, Latasha Thomas, Debora (Tony) Cox all of Alexander City, AL.Two uncles; Gene (Faye) Russell of Alexander City, AL and John (Wilhelmenia) Russell of Blythewood, SC.  Four aunts: Betty Anderson of Cleveland, OH; Bula Edwards, Bobbie Russell and Mary Russell all of  Alexander City, AL.  A mother-in-law, Juanita Fuller Bohannon.  A Godmother, Burnetta Hawkins.  A special friends, Ronald (Ron) Yates of Wadley, AL and Sharon (Minnie) Thomas of Alexander City, AL.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and along with an abundant amount of friends.
