Mrs. Frankie 'Mank' Jean Allen

Mrs. Frankie Allen was born to the late Mr. George Marbury Sr. and Mrs. Della Marbury on June 17, 1950.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Nathaniel Allen for 51 years.

She joined St. James AME Church under the leadership of Bishop Raymond Angel. She was in the process of uniting with VFWC before her transition.

She is preceded in death by her husband, son, grandson, and her father.

On March 22, 2024 she transitioned at her home.

Mank’s memories will remain in the hearts of her four children: Mrs. Sherril (James) Wood of Millerville, Alabama; Bridget Allen of Goodwater, Alabama; Donna Allen of Alexander City, Alabama and Marion Allen of Goodwater, Alabama. Her mother, Mrs. Della Marbury of Goodwater, Alabama. 18 grand children, 23 great grand children. 2 sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Moon of Washington, D.C., & Laura Harrell of Goodwater, Alabama. 1 brother, Jimmy Marbury of Goodwater, Alabama. 1 Aunt, Mae Lois Hardy of Anniston, Alabama. 1 brother in law, Ronnie Allen; 1 sister in law, Rochelle Allen. 1 God child, Mar’Shea Holley. Special friend, Keith Hicks. A host of  other relatives and friends.
